We are pleased to share that our Scandinavian survey on pharmacological strategies and video laryngoscope use for non-acute tracheal intubation among Danish and Swedish anaesthesiologists has now been published in Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica.

The survey explores current use of neuromuscular blocking agents, opioids, and video laryngoscopy in routine clinical practice. Importantly, the findings served as one of the supporting studies informing the design of the ROCVIDEO Trial.

The topic investigated in the ROCVIDEO Trial has recently been debated in the Journal of the Danish Medical Association. Today, we have published a response addressing the debate and highlighting the relevance of the ROCVIDEO Trial. At the same time, a representative from the Danish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DASAIM) has also published a response to the debate.
